My new show debuts - October 2nd in Boston

I’m finally ready to unveil my new one-woman show, InspiRAYtion: The Musical Legacy of Ray Charles.  I’m going to premiere it at Boston’s Club Café on Saturday October 2nd at 9pm and  bring it to New York in early December.

Ray Charles sang just about every kind of music there is, from rock & roll to Broadway, blues, country, and jazz.  This show touches on all of those genres with songs by Lennon & McCartney, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Irving Berlin, Ashford & Simpson, and Buck Owens – as well as Ray Charles himself.

When I performed my show The Girl That I Marry in Provincetown a few years ago, Boston’s LGBT newspaper Bay Windows called me “a distinctly hip performer.” New York magazine called me “a showstopping songstress.” Come find out why.

No cover charge or minimum purchase required. And after we finish InspiRAYtion, I’m going stay and sing with some special guests (including Boston’s very talented Dane Vannatter) until midnight.  It’s going to be a great evening of music.
